Actually, any holiday-themed candy gets me giddy

While shopping at Walgreens today, I felt an intense sense of happiness over all of the Easter candy. Actually, any holiday-themed candy gets me giddy. I love Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, but I always love the tree, heart, and egg shape more. I guess it is my inner child. Right when I laid eyes on the Prada Raso Pietre Clutch in Turchese my mind immediately thought candy (the jelly bean or Cadbury Mini Eggs variety). Do you see that too? econluo.blog.com My family is very health-conscious. When I was growing up, not one kid in the lunch room ever wanted to trade lunch items with me. Why? Because they had a Twinkie and I had cut up green pepper sticks. I was that kid, but I didn’t care. Except on Christmas morning, when I would run to find my stocking and open it, I’m not going to lie I was a bit disappointed. The bottom of my stocking would be an orange, I would have some organic dark chocolate, and that was it food wise. I wanted all that bad stuff. Give me Hersey’s Kisses, Butterfinger Bells, REESE’S Peanut Butter Cup Trees. What I would take at the bottom of my stocking this year in place of an organic orange is this Gucci Mouse Purse because it is all kinds of awesome. No need to take life too seriously, and this coin purse showcases exactly that: HAVE FUN.

As we wait for Fall 2009 bag collection to slowly (really slowly) hit stores, some collections are bound to come out earlier than others. In the past few days, a number of new Burberry bags have been popping up around the Internet, so if you see a lot of them in the near future, that’s why. One of my favorites of the new crop is the Burberry Metallic Leather Hobo. It’s well-documented that dark silver or pewter is my favorite of all the metallics and probably my favorite neutral, and this is a great example. It has a great shimmer without being too shiny and over-the-top like lighter silvers can tend to be, and it would work well in any kind of weather. Also, I’m usually very anti-logo, but I think the way that Burberry subtly embossed their signature plaid into the soft leather is really creative – it gives the bag a bit of branding and visual interest all wrapped in one Hermes Replica Bag Do you want people to actually buy your bags? Why is it that every time I go into your store the handbag selection looks like the exact same fug from last season and the season before? It is time to move on, design something new, take a chance. Because, face it, even if you fail miserably, it won’t make much of a difference. Your monogram bags are probably one of the worst logo bags out there. For some reason, they repulse me. And your Indy bags have some potential, as in the shape is ok, but why would you put a design like this on one? Your Gucci Indy Bag above shows off multicolor blue bell embroidery with bamboo tassels and metal plate details. Unfortunately, the bells resemble jellyfish, which I absolutely despise. Jellyfish sting me, and stick on my skin, and turn me red with an itchy painful rash. Is there a reason you have bells that resemble jellyfish? It feels like the scene in Finding Nemo, where Nemo and Dori have to swim through the jellyfish. Do you remember what happened to Dori? The good news is, Dori lived. This bag itself is not absolutely horrible, but I feel like your bags in general have been horrible. I was at Saks the other day and a gold Python Indy was thrown on the sale table next to some Juicy Couture handbags. Talk about slummin’ it. But please do not think you are a lost cause, because you are not.
